Please join us for the second installment in our Transformative Justice Under Authoritarianism series on Wednesday, May 28th at 11 AM - 12:30 PM ET // 8 - 9:30 AM PT // 8:30 - 10 PM IST.
This time we'll be learning from organizers, advocates, artists, and practitioners in India who are challenging criminalization constructed by caste, and operating at the intersections of religion, gender, and class while advancing transformative justice practices over the past decade.
We’ll be checking back in with speakers from our 2023 Practicing Abolitionist Worlds Transnational Transformative Justice Conference and contributors to our Transformative Justice Knows No Borders report, and talking about how we can continue to learn from each other and deepen solidarity across contexts and geographies.
During this session, we will hear from:
Nisha Abdulla of Qabila and OffStream
Dee of Alternative Justice
Nikita Sonovane of Criminal Justice and Police Accountability Project
Live captioning will be available.
