Three-session workshop

Immigration is all over the news, but what’s really going on!?

This interactive workshop dives into how immigration and criminalization are connected—and why it matters. This multisession workshop explores the relationship between the criminal legal system and immigration enforcement, a system often referred to as “crim-immigration.”

Using real-life stories, creative tools, and open conversation (not dense legal jargon), we’ll break down the impact of crim-immigration on families, neighborhoods, and futures. This is a space for people who are curious, confused, or concerned. Whether you’ve lived this experience or are just starting to learn, you’re welcome here. We’ll learn from each other, reflect together, and imagine what safety and justice could look like beyond borders and bars.
